Limited edition artwork by Stanley Donwood commissioned by Common Ground to celebrate the release of Arcadia, a new film from BAFTA award-winning Scottish director Paul Wright which explores our complex relationship with the land. Using over 100 archive film clips from the last 100 years and a grand, expressive new score from Adrian Utley (Portishead) and Will Gregory (Goldfrapp), the film goes on a sensory, visceral journey through the contrasting seasons, exploring the beauty and brutality, magic and madness of our changing relationship with the land and each other. Co-produced by Common Ground, Arcadia was funded by the BFI, Creative Scotland and BBC. This limited print by Stanley Donwood is based on the original artwork for the film’s poster.
