How can I help?

Common Ground emphasises the value of our everyday surroundings and the positive investment people can make in their own localities. We forge links between thc arts and the conservation of nature and our cultural landscapes, town and country. We offer ideas, information and inspiration, through publications, exhibitions and projects such as Field Days, Parish Maps, Confluence, Trees Woods and the Green Man, New Milestones, Apple Day and the campaign for Local Distinctiveness.

As a small charity we rely on donations and project grants from organisations such as the John Ellerman Foundation; the Garfield Weston Foundation; the Headley Trust and DEFRA Environmental Action Fund. If you share our aims and hopes for the local. please consider the following methods of financial support. Alternatively, the smallest one-off donation will be gratefully accepted. Charity Registration Number 326335

Gift Aid or Deed of Covenant

Common Ground does not have a membership, but if you would like to support our work through Gift Aid or Deed of Covenant we should be happy to send you the relevant Inland Revenue forms (they are very simple to fill in). This means, if you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim the tax back from the Inland Revenue, adding at least a further 23% to your donation.
