Confluence

Youth groups: Lighthouse Project Centre, Christchurch

Towards the end of Confluence, Karen Wimhurst worked with the Lighthouse Project Group for Young People based in Christchurch. Members of the club, with director, Russ Gannicott, worked with Karen to make electronic music from recorded samples of water, some from Gannicott's collections, others from the recordings of Melbury Abbas springs made by Karen for last year's Well Being concert.

Some of the resulting recordings were played in Christchurch Priory as part of The Confluence in July 2001.
