The piece includes spoken histories of people in the Stour villages of the Blackmore Vale, Dorset, collected by Helen Weinstein, and was played by the Wind Ensemble of the Bournemouth Sinfonietta at Buckhorn Weston Village Hall on June 20th 1999.
The piece was originated as part of Common Ground's project CONFLUENCE
