Nutmeg Puppet Company presents:

Apple Pip

An Apple Day entertainment for all the family.

A show with puppets, storytelling, songs, original music and a taste of apples.

For three to six year olds and their families.

From spring blossom and summer fruiting, to autumn harvest and leaf-fall, Pip sings as she swings from the branch of an old apple tree. Once it produced the tastiest apple in the orchard, but now it is neglected and all kinds of animals try to steal the last remaining fruit. Mrs Crabbe, the grumpy owner plans to chop it down, but Pip loves the tree and wants to save it. With the help of the audience, she must find a way to make Mrs Crabbe change her mind.

The show ...

Is especially good for people organising Apple Days with children in mind.

Can be performed inside or in the open air.

Has an illustrated book based on it.

Has been produced in collaboration with teachers, children and parents from Norfolk schools and pre-schools and advice from the East of England Apples and Orchard Project
